This compilation of songs was created from the suggestion of several of our members at large. Many of us have heard these songs sung at our festivals throughout Florida and the constant talk I've heard is, "FOFF should do a Comp of these songs!" And so we have moved to do just that. This is the resulting invitational project of the songs that we the members of the FOFF board of directors have heard reflecting the myriad of emotional reactions to the September 11th 2001 tragedy, the political climate of the day and the overall love of country. We are diverse in our points of view, we are united in our Love for Country. This is folk music, how and why it is born. Controversial and dynamic it has always been this way. It is still so today.
