Doug and Ellie are well known folk artists in the Tampa Bay area. The have hosted the popular house concert series, along with doing music projects with Luvsounders

There house concert series has been discontinued, but they are still active and now back in the area after a trek on the road. After seven wonderful years of presenting house concerts here at Under the Oaks, we are shutting down the series in January 2006.

Doug plays guitar, bass guitar, banjo & mandolin. He has been a studio musician for the Hit Factory in New York City, owned the largest sound system in the New England area, and has performed

>with over 40 bands in the northeast. He is a popular instructor at the annual Sunshine Acoustic Music Camp in St. Petersburg. Doug builds, repairs, restores & custom tailors all fretted-string instruments and owns a recording studio in Lutz, Florida. He sings and plays lead guitar and banjo.

Doug was featured in article in St Pete Times with his latest project, Oculus Media. Ths new project is a grass roots and backyard  music and publishing company run in and around Kimbo Savino's mobile home.
