Tom Edwards is a singer-songwriter originally from Callahan, Florida. While he splits his time nowadays between Florida and the Southern Appalachian Mountains, he holds fast to his Florida roots. Tom has been writing and recording since the early 80’s, and his music has evolved from singing Folk music in college coffee houses to the Americana style of music he writes and performs today. Some of his original compositions can be found on his CD, “All Of Me In A Song,” which weaves several of his songs into a pallet of heartfelt emotion he has developed through his life experiences across the South. He is a multi-instrumentalist and frequently accompanies his guitar with harmonica.

Al Monte is a singer-songwriter and master guitarist with many influences, and writes in an abundance of different styles and genres. His set list is extensive with an abundance of timeless original songs from his last four CDs and more, with songs from the 60s to the present. From folk to jazz and blues and rock, you will be enchanted by his own special style and flair with a touch of James Taylor, Paul Simon, Jim Croce, and others thrown in for good measure. Al will be joined by Scott Selph, who is a well-established musician in the Jacksonville area, and the lead guitarist for the veteran band Kymystry.

Julie Freeman is an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist and vocalist in the Northeast Florida area. She plays and sings in multiple genres from folk to pop, R&B to rock, and country from the 60’s and beyond. A child of the 60’s, her music encompasses an era that often blended folk, rock and pop into its own unique sound. Julie’s love of singing began at a very young age, from a children’s choir all the way to Voice studies in college. Julie says she first picked up a guitar when she was 13, and forgot to put it down! An accountant by day, Julie spends her free time performing a uniquely diverse collection of songs and instrumentals.

This concert is sponsored by the Mudville Music Room, Ray Lewis Productions and the North Florida Folk Network (NFFN)
