Paul Linser is a man of multiple life-long pursuits. Not only is he a Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Florida, but he is also a fully embedded singer-songwriter and folk musician, producer, radio DJ, and executive director of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Inc. Dr. Paul Linser first picked up a guitar at the tender age of 12 and has been playing ever since. His performance repertoire includes Americana covers and original songs that emanate from his personal life. He has been performing in the Florida Folk Music scene at numerous festivals for over a decade as half of the duo, Paradox, and also plays with the cover band Sunset Monday. As a solo act, Paul does his best to tell his tale both in song and story.

Paul “Doctor Paul” Constantine is a troubadour in every sense of the word. After appearing on NBC's “The Voice” in Season 9, the Doctor has been traveling on his "I Ain't Done Yet" tour to bring his music to as many new fans and friends as possible. His utterly original interpretations of songwriters great and small are rendered fresh in his deft hands, and lesser-known songs are thoroughly owned and yet oddly familiar. He has collaborated with some of the great names in the business and has recorded with some of Nashville’s top session players, but you will experience him as nature intended in his live shows. He is unadorned accompanied by only his acoustic guitar, and his unique, powerful voice is carried by a flurry of fingerpicked notes that pass like mile markers on a very heady trip.

Cheryl J. Watson is a singer-songwriter from Saint Augustine, FL who started playing guitar at nine years old. She has performed and recorded as a solo artist, in duos and in various bands. Blending genres of rock, pop, folk, country, blues, jazz, and bluegrass, her rich vocals deliver heartfelt lyrics and strong melodies. Her latest recording, “Watertown” was released in 2011. Cheryl also teaches private music lessons for guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and vocals. She will be accompanied by Teri LaMarco, who is a multi-instrumentalist from Jacksonville, FL. Teri plays rock, bluegrass, blues, and hymns on upright bass, guitar and mandolin, has been a member of several bluegrass and church bands, and helps promote bluegrass and acoustic music in the North Florida area.

This concert is sponsored by the Mudville Music Room, Ray Lewis Productions and the North Florida Folk Network (NFFN).
