We sincerely hope that all of you have weathered hurricane Irma and not experienced any major damage.
Due to the significant impact the storm has had on our state, we are extending the Florida Folk Festival Performer application deadline to October 20th. With this extension, it’s critical that you have your application and recordings in our office by October 20th in order for us to have materials ready for Performer Review in November.
We have acknowledged the receipt of all applications and recordings received through September 18th. If you have submitted your application electronically and we have not acknowledged that it has been received, please re-submit. We want to make sure that no applications are lost in cyberspace with the recent power outages. In the past few days we have received a few recordings (with the first page of the application) without having received the electronic application. You will also be notified if that has happened.

. Samantha will be happy to help you. There are many applications that have already come in through the electronic submission process without any issues. Please don’t wait until the last minute in the event you believe you may need assistance.
