Stephen Foster Park. 386.397.2733 WEST CENTRAL ARCADIA Heartland Bluegrass Music Association of Florida's monthly "Just Jammin' " weekends are being held at Craig's RV on the 4th weekend of each month, unless that weekend conflicts with another major bluegrass event such as a local or nearby festival, or a major holiday weekend.
The weekends offer camping, concession stand on Saturdays, ongoing jamming at individual campsites, or indoors or under the bluegrass barn roof if the weather is bad. These weekends feature stage shows on Saturday afternoon, guitar workshops and slow jams, and frequent family-style activities such as potlucks. Admission to stage shows is presently set at $7.00 per person, but is free to anyone holding a current membership in HBMAF. Known as Lundyville to the locals, the resort is a small music venue and the Open Mic is an addition to the music program the owners are building there. There is no bar, no restaurant, no ball game on TV, no pool table. It’s about the music. Because of noise ordinance the concert will start at 7PM. There are 12 music lots for sets 15 min/3 songs. No admission charge for performs. Regular admission is $2. Sign-up for a performance slot opens at 6PM. There will be refreshments available. We hope to offer cd’s for sale.
